Bamboo Borer
Adult beetle is about 3 mm long, reddish-brown or black. The larvae bore many tunnels inside bamboo, expelling frass from the openings.

The larva is creamy white. Mature larvae are 10–12 mm long and shiny. The larva spins silk to form a case, which is open at both ends.
Longhorn Beetle
Adult body length is mostly between 15 and 30 mm. The forewings are elytra, and the antennae are long, usually exceeding the body length.
Ground Beetle
Body length 12 mm. Body is glossy black; legs, mouthparts, and antennae are yellow. Elytra are elongated with deep striae.
Aphid
Body small and soft. Adults may be winged or wingless. There is a pair of cornicles on the abdomen.
Whitefly
Body small. Adult body length about 1–3 mm. Wings are white and covered with a powdery substance, resembling a small moth.
Leafhopper
Body length 3–12 mm. Resembles a small cicada in appearance; body color variable. Hind tibiae have keel-like ridges with setae, and bear two distinct rows of stout spines on the underside.
Thrips
Body mostly elongated and seed-like, 5–15 mm, grayish-brown or grayish-blue. Wings narrow and elongate, with long and evenly spaced fringe hairs along the margins.
